What Is The Experience I Provide?

I plan and arrange a little adventure for you, commonly just a single day in a special area. l will guide a small group of you on nature hikes and/or pleasant meanderings through quaint villages, where we take our time snapping pictures of you and your beautiful selves in all the stunning scenes along the way. I lean more towards attempting semi-candid captures to deliver a more cinematic feel of the experience and your essence. 

The depth of what I offer is beyond the adventure planning and photography though. I like to bring the intention of opening conversation to highlight both light and dark aspects of your story you wish to be celebrated and held with acceptance. I lend a listening environment to invite whatever passionate lectures, venting, moments of melancholy, confusion, exciting endeavors, and all components of your energy to flow and be witnessed. I love seeing people for who they purely are and I enjoy absorbing their stories and thought processes with enthusiasm and grace. This is where the ultimate relaxation and invigoration can come in this adventure. You are not obligated to be open. This is a bonus to my work. Vulnerability to be yourself is what I find actually fills our hearts most when we allow ourselves the opportunity and so I like providing that safety for others. I insist on keeping the group as 1-4 people who all know each other as a means to provide an intimate safe space to connect deeply. I want you to experience both the beauty within your soul while appreciating the majestic planet we reside on and embracing your unique path here and the qualities you possess. We are aiming to create a peaceful stirring within you. Full scale goofiness is greatly encouraged. I welcome families with children too. Being a father of a wild bunch, I am widely accommodating.

OTHER DETAILS and POTENTIAL CONCERNS    

  • I am flexible on if you already have a place in mind you want to trek OR if you’d like me to select and suggest hikes or attractions that would be the most optimal. Whether you or I decide on location, it is strongly preferred to be done within a week of our endeavor together so that there is plenty of time to prepare.

  • I will suggest certain colors to not wear or wear based on environment chosen for our photo journey. This is because I want to provide the most epic and satisfying images we can capture of you.

  • Much of the experience or even availability will vary greatly due to the seasons and time of the day desired, as well as location. I will consult with you beforehand.

  • Everything within roughly a 3.5 hour radius of me will be included in my rate. There are an abundance of incredible options in that scope. Popular areas included would be Telluride and the San Juan Mountains, Moab and the vast desert landscape of Eastern Utah, Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley, Breckenridge and all of Summit County, Crested Butte, Steamboat Springs, etc. Not to mention the hundreds of other hidden gems and lesser known gorgeous offerings that I’d love to share with you.

  • A travel fee will be added to anything outside of this range and cost will vary based on expenses required to accommodate me meeting you at the desired time and location. Currently I am open to anywhere in the United States.

  • I am somewhat flexible on duration of our adventure, but mostly I will anticipate 6-10 hours will accommodate most day-trip experiences. I am willing to be available for extended periods if discussed beforehand, such as several consecutive days worth of planning/photography. Additional compensation for such arrangements will be addressed if needed.

  • No question is too dumb or far fetched. Ask away and I’d love to accommodate if possible and see what we can work out.

    My photography rate includes adventure planning and vulnerable conversations, because that is what I am passionate about. However, I am more than happy for only my photography skills to be utilized. I am open to participating in many other projects. Just let me know what you are needing.

  • A D V E N T U R I N G

    I can offer planning and guiding services exclusively if you are in no need of photography. I can put together itineraries from local/regional day trips to extensive cross-country camping trips. This can include making bookings and reservations for you as well. I provide a wealth of information to give you as much awareness and optimal flow to get the most of your experience and endeavors. I can also be hired as a guide to accompany you.

  • V U L N E R A B I L I T Y

    This always comes free. I want to be available as much as possible to be in this space. I am a very open person that would be seeking to be apart of gatherings, podcasts, or events where there is a desire for this type of energy and voice present. I would be able to delve in and bring to the table experience in divorce, deconstruction of faith, intimacy and relationships, fatherhood, u.s. travel and nature, science and spirituality, intertwined with animated facial and vocal expressions. I look forward to creating consciousness-expanding conversations with you.
